Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ products consist of LX-57B Lead Glass, Interlayer and Float Glass in a laminated sandwich. Required thickness of material types to achieve 1.6 mm Pb at 150kV are shown below.

4. Windows are equipped with Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ Glass – a laminated, safety, radiation shielding glass. Saf-T-Lite      Radiation Protector™ Glass meets the requirements of ANSI Z97. 1-1984 and 16 CFR 1201 Cat.ll which constitutes      acceptance of its safety characteristics and retention of these characteristics.

5. Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ Shields’ opaque panel surfaces are plastic laminate, standard color is creme, but any color      can be ordered.

6. Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ glass and opaque panel have a 1.6 mm (1/16”) lead equivalency.

7. Optional item - anodized aluminum handles.

Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ Fixed Shields are delivered fully assembled ready for installation into anodized extruded aluminum wall (Model 600) and floor (Models 610- 618) mounting channels, and vertical couplers (Models 500 - 504). Vertical couplers come in 30 degrees, 45 degrees, 60 degrees, 90 degrees and 180 degree angles.

Saf-T-Lite Radiation Protector™ Fixed Shields can be additionally secured to wall by using 90 degree angle connecting bars which are screwed to shield and wall bracket.
